Firstly I would like to just go on record by saying to all the mums of the world, I salute you. Having played Mrs. Doubtfire, and trying to be a house husband in my time off from work, I have no idea how you do what you do, and do it so well! Being a home manager is so frikkin hard. I find it easier to be at work than at home. You are brilliant at managing the home and the family. I am not just saying that to get brownie points from my wife, because she doesn’t read my work, but it is so true. Because it is so easy for you, there are many things women can do to be one of the many work from home mums.
First things first, you need to work out how much spare time you have, then you can work out how much time you can spend per day or per week on your work from home business. Then you can decide which work from home business to pursue. Think about something that you have a passion for. In my wife’s case that would be shoes, hand bags, clothes, jewellery etc etc. Just joking. But seriously though choosing something that you are passionate about will ensure this business will not feel like a chore, pardon the pun. If it’s something you truly enjoy doing then that will remove that aspect.
For newer mothers, plan your time to work around your babies naptimes. And when they are awake set up a playpen in the area that you will be working in so that you can interact with your baby while working and be able to keep an eye on them at the same time.
You can work at home in many ways. For example, if you enjoy cooking, then this could be the theme to your work from home business. Set up a small bakery business and provide local grocery stores with your goods. I keep on telling my wife this because she can make a mean chocolate cake. If it becomes successful, then expand your business to an in house bakery, providing you have the room to do so. This would also work well with a sandwich shop.
Other ideas for you to consider could be things like home parties and selling for better ware, Avon to Ann Summers can be very rewarding jobs while working from the home. These jobs can be done when you want, around you and your family, during the day or at night. You can do it when your children are at school, doing their homework (there’s a novel idea regarding my oldest son) or when your baby is asleep.
Affiliate marketing is a fantastic option because you can simply promote a product on behalf of companies who are needing your efforts to make them, and you, more money. You can go to ClickBank to choose digital products that can get dispatched out at the click of a button. Or you can promote physical products through sites like commission junction. But either way this method doesn’t require you to have a degree in sales. You simply find the product that will add value to customers. It’s like a woman going into a shop looking to buy a hand bag, you greet them at the door, and direct them to the area they need to be in. If they buy the bag you make a commission. Easy money right? Affiliate marketing is that simple.
You could even decide to do online jobs from data Entry, typing and freelance writing, filling out surveys, the opportunities are endless. Word of advice for you to seriously consider, when searching for your work from home business, is to apply your due diligence in the various options out there. Why? For the simple reason that there are a boat load of bogus sites that require you to pay for their brochure or sign up with them, for a cost. Check out the site really well before sending anyone money. There are plenty of people trying to scam you to make their easy money.
For sure you will achieve great satisfaction when you can generate some money for yourself and for your family. You will know you are contributing to the family in many ways. Not only will you be doing your role as a full time mother and home manager but also managing a part time job. I think wonder woman may need to take note, not to mention all the embarrassed men in the world, such as myself, who struggle to do 2 things at the same time without getting one of them wrong as a result.
