There are several Mind-Body and Energy techniques.
Your assignment is to find, post the link to, and summarize according to competencies a YouTube video presenting a
Mind-Body technique in a professional manner.
The mind-body energy technique I’ve chosen is Mindfulness Meditation

-Correlating illness prevention, health promotion, health restoration, patient education and
empowerment as it relates to alternative and complementary healthcare (C2.1).

will follow within a few hours, (This part has already been done).

•Please view 3-5 peer videos and respond explaining what you have learned.
The rationale for having to respond and view 3-5 videos is there is not one video that can give
an overview of all the possible treatments in mind and body healing.

Mind-Body interventions affect energy fields in and around the body promoting health and impacting the
disease process. They promote homeostasis by either consciously changing the mind or body positions,
changing energy fields, or a combination of two or more.
Scientific research strongly links the power of our mind to health and illness. The evidence that makes
correlation between stress and disease is a new field called psychoneuroimmunology (PNI).
PNI describes the interactions among behavior, neural, endocrine, and immune processes.
This interesting and emerging field that supports the use of CAM Mind-Body techniques, especially in
the prevention of chronic disease, and possibly in the treatment of disease processes.
Examples of mind-body interventions include, but are not limited to:
-Magnet therapy
